Catrina Mia began in 2021 with a simple dream: bring the bold, comforting flavors of Mexican food to our community through a 100% halal menu. As one of Michigan’s early halal Mexican concepts, we set out to create a place where more people could gather around the food they love.
At the heart of our kitchen is Chef Hanan, whose more than 30 years of culinary experience bring care, creativity, and a deep love of food to every dish. Our famous birria is our signature, but the celebration goes far beyond tacos—from loaded fries and burritos to quesadillas, sandwiches, and chef’s specials.
